The 11th floor of the Fukuoka Prefectural Office has been revamped. Previously a display space for local specialty goods and crafts, the top floor now boasts a small stage where performances can be held, a new multipurpose room and an open-floor plan cafe that uses locally grown foods. Renovations cost about ¥80 million, and Prefectural officials hope the new space will become a place where locals congregate. There is also display available for use free of charge.
