Prefecture Begins Offering Free Consultations on Employment Maintenance and Labor Management

Fukuoka Prefecture has started offering free specialized consultations on employment maintenance and labor management for small and medium-sized enterprises suffering from the impact of COVID-19. The consultations have been outsourced to a private company with labor and social security attorneys on staff who can provide detailed advice on applying for employment adjustment subsidies and revising work regulations in line with changes to working arrangements. The aim is to alleviate the burden incurred in filing the complicated application for employment adjustment subsidies and help SMEs that need to conclude labor-management agreements to accommodate telework and other new working styles.
