Public Facilities In Fukuoka Prefecture Announce Closures

Cities in Fukuoka Prefecture announced temporary closures of their public facilities. Reflecting on the issuance of ‘Fukuoka Corona Special Warning’ amidst the rapid increase in the number of new coronavirus infections, Fukuoka City Zoo, Fukuoka City Art Museum, Fukuoka City Sogo Library, and more spots would be closed between Aug. 9 ~ 31. Athletic facilities, including The Fukuoka City Sogo Taiikukan, would also be closed except for COVID-19 vaccination. In addition to Kego Park that had been partially closed from Aug. 1, the entrance to Fureai Hiroba next to the city hall is restricted as of Aug. 6. Source: KBC
