QPS Research Institute (Fukuoka City), a Kyushu University-affiliated venture company, announced that it will launch its fifth small satellite in early 2023. The company has signed a contract with U.S.-based Virgin Orbit, which is engaged in the business of launching satellites from the air using aircraft.
