Railway Vehicle Exports Increasing Through Moji Customs

Moji Customs revealed that the number of railway vehicles exported through their services has reached a new high, with 2016 experiencing a 5.9% increase compared to the previous year. 85.5% of exports (quantity) headed towards Great Britain, making it the number one destination for vehicles leaving Moji. The UK is currently replacing its intercity high speed railway system, and has been importing Japanese vehicles since 2015. Source: Japan Customs, 5/22/2017
