A Kitakyushu-based rakugo story-teller, Tachibanaya Bunta, debuted his ‘rakugo car’ on May 5. His first on-truck performance took place at Takami Shirine in Yahatahigashi Ward, with a story told in Kyushu dialect to some twenty fans. The Fukuoka-native rakugo artist wants to provide entertainment to disaster-hit regions and other unique venues. His crowdfunding project has reached only 21% towards it goal, but runs until the end of May: https://camp-fire.jp/projects/view/394566 Source: Yomiuri / KBC
