Ramen Runway to Open in Fukuoka Airport

A selection of ramen restaurants will open in the Greenblue commercial facility located on the third floor of the Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal. The Ramen Kassouro (Runway) area will have restaurants offering a range of noodle dishes from all over Japan. This new dining section of the airport will include a total of 10 stores (seven ramen restaurants, two temporary ramen stands, and one confectionary shop) and 297 seats across a floor span of 662 square meters. The lineup of permanent eateries will include Fukuoka favorites Hakata Ikkousha and Unari Ramen. Teshikaga Ramen is also opening its first restaurant outside of Hokkaido, while the Tokyo ramen chain Tsujida is due to establish its first branch in Kyushu. The “runway” will open on Nov. 21, operating from 10:00~21:45. Source: Hakata Keizai Shimbun, 10/26/2017
