Random PCR Monitoring Begins in Fukuoka

On Mar. 6, Fukuoka Prefecture began random screenings for the new coronavirus. Special counters were set up near important train stations and shopping districts to distribute free PCR-test kits. People without COVID-19 like symptoms can register at the counters and mail their swabs to designated laboratories. The program is run in collaboration with the national government.
