The Fukuoka-Kitakyushu Expressway Public Corporation said that traffic volume on expressways in Fukuoka City on the 13th reached 215,500 vehicles, a record high. It was a 7.86% increase over the previous record high set on August 11 last year. The corporation attributed this to the greater convenience resulting from the complete opening of the beltway around the city in July.
