An outline for the redevelopment of the former Starlane bowling alley site was announced on March 26 by NTT Urban Development. The plan calls for a spacious 940 m2 public square in the southern section of the site. The project gained the approval of applying ‘Hakata Connected Bonus,’ a privileged rule for constructing a new building. Events including seasonal light ups will be held to bring additional cheers to its neighborhood. The ten-story building will have shops and cafes on the first floor and offices on the second floor and above. Source: NTT 2020-03-28
