A 72-year-old man from Itoshima was arrested for theft in connection with self-serve coffee at a convenience store. The man is believed to have purchased an S-size cup but poured himself an M-size cup of coffee. He was apprehended on the spot and charged with theft. The difference between the amount of coffee in the S and M sizes is 70cc. The store identified the man as having purchased the coffee fraudulently in December 2021, and a warning was posted inside the store.
