Fukuoka City proudly unveiled its first outdoor basketball court within the Fukuoka metropolitan area, marking its inauguration with a commemorative tournament on the 28th. This dual outdoor basketball court is uniquely situated atop the rooftop parking lot of Bayside Place Hakata. The inaugural day saw a gathering of 12 teams, comprising both university students and working professionals, divided into two classes for the tournament. Moving forward, the court requires advance booking for use, catering to both team and individual practice sessions.
