Takeo and Arita-cho in Saga Prefecture, and Hirado and Hasami-cho in Nagasaki Prefecture held a joint sale in Hasami-cho on the 19th of assets seized from tax delinquents. Takeo has been holding such joint sales since 2007, but they decided to expand the range covered by such sales. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications says that it is unusual for local governments in different prefectures to work together for sales of this type.
