Takeo City in Saga Prefecture announced plans for third injections of the COVID-19 vaccine. During a press conference on Oct. 28, the mayor explained a schedule to give the third doses of the new coronavirus vaccine to local medical workers from December. The city will also begin the provision of third vaccinations for elderly residents from January 2022. Those additional doses will be given to people who took their second vaccination at least about eight months before. Source: NHK / Saga TV
