Sagan Tosu (Saga Prefecture’s professional soccer club) returned to the #1 spot in the J. League-1 this weekend after defeating Nagoya Grampus 1-0 at their home stadium on Aug. 2. The team previously occupied the top spot in May. At Saturday’s game a crowd of 10,415 witnessed Sagan Tosu’s win, as forward Kei Ikeda scored the game’s only goal 38 minutes into the second half.
