Saibu Gas announced on September 5 that it has begun discussions with JSC Novatek to launch a new joint venture to export Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to Asian countries. The Russian energy company and Saibu Gas reached a basic agreement on the matter at the ongoing Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. They aim to set up a new company by March 2020 to export Novatek’s LNG, using LNG facilities of Saibu Gas in Kitakyushu City. Source: Saibu Gas Co., Ltd., 9/5/2019
