Saibu Gas announced on March 26th that it plans to construct a third LNG storage tank at its Hibiki LNG Terminal in Wakamatsu Ward, Kitakyushu City. The new 230,000 kiloliter tank, along with associated facilities, aims to boost the terminal’s capacity and ensure stable natural gas supply amid rising demand. The company currently operates two LNG tanks at the Hibiki Terminal with a combined 360,000 kiloliter storage capacity.
