Fukuoka City-based Saibu Gas announced that it would build a liquid natural gas plant in Omuta to gasify the LNG for use in the home. It will produce about 50,000 tons of this gas annually and supply it to Omuta and Kumamoto City. Operation is expected to begin in April 2011.
