A newly opened shopping center in the central Kumamoto City, Sakura Machi Kumamoto, marked its one-millionth visitor on its 10th day of operation. The six-floor shopping complex opened on September 14 with 149 shops and restaurants. On the very first day, the mall attracted 250,000 visitors, which was 2.5 times as many as expected.
