The Fukuoka City-based Sekisui Chemical Co. Housing Company revealed it will purchase roughly 50,000 gift items produced at regional vocational centers to give to their customers. Orders for the items have fallen dramatically due to the slump in consumption, and the facilities are facing difficult financial straits. Sekisui is making the purchases to provide support to the facilities.
