JR Kyushu’s luxury sightseeing train, Seven Stars, announced they would serve bowls of ramen noodles. Reflecting upon the passengers’ desire to slurp noodles before going to bed, easy-to-digest noodles and dashi-based soups (soy sauce and salt) were developed in collaboration Chikaranomoto Holdings Co, Ltd. of Ippudo Ramen fame. Named ‘Nanamaru’ after Ippudo’s signature ramen, Akamaru and Shiromaru. The new dishes will be served onboard from Mar. 23. (and also available online.) Source: Nikkei / Asahi
