Shinwa Bank of Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, affiliated with the Fukuoka Financial Group, has agreed to give fish breeder Matsusui of Oita Prefecture a 300 million yen loan and accept the yellowtail snapper the company produces as collateral. Matsusui produces about 150,000 of the fish every year and ships them nationwide, and it is known for the quality of its product. The company’s 50 breeding tanks are also included as collateral, but no specification was made in the contract about the age of the fish to be accepted.
