JR Kyushu has announced schedules for tourist trains including The Seven Stars in Kyushu (Nanatsuboshi,) Aru Ressha and Yufuin no Mori.
The luxurious sleeper train, Seven Stars, will resume operations of its three-night-four-day route (7/14~) and one-night-two-day route (7/18~). For the time being, it will limit the number of passengers to 16 persons.
The sweets-themed sightseeing train, Aru Ressha, currently accepts reservations for the Huis Ten Bosch – Hakata course (Jul. ~ Aug.) and the Oita – Hita course (Sep. ~ Nov.)
Guests for these two trains might be asked to postpone their trips in case they show symptoms linked to the new coronavirus.
Yufuin no Mori and other express trains for the company also resumed operation on Jun. 19, reflecting the relaxed recommendation against non-essential cross-prefectural travels.
Nishitetsu resumed operation of The Rail Kitchen Chikugo on May 29. Currently, the train operates its lunch course and dinner course only. Tickets for the brunch course (Jun. 27~) are also available.
