Police revealed on Tuesday that two separate stabbing incidents occurred in Fukuoka City within a space of three days. The most recent attack occurred on Monday night, Jan. 28 at around 19:00 in Hakata-ward. The female victim was approached from behind by a man who forced her head down and slashed her head and arm with a knife. The woman, a 45-year-old nurse, sustained minor injuries. The attacker has been described as between 165~170cm in height, wearing a black knit cap and sunglasses. The incident may be linked to another knife attack that took place only a kilometer away last Saturday (1/26) in a public park.
