The third British Pub Morris, named HIPPO will open along the Hakata River inside the “Eeeny Meeny Miny Mo” shopping complex (Hakata Riverain) in Fukuoka. on Nov. 15. Hippo joins the ranks of two other Morris pubs: “Morris” and “Morris’ Black Sheep” both in Daimyo. The new pub features 50 outdoor terrace seats with a view of Hakata River. This will be the first Morris to serve lunch (11:30 to 15:00). Seven varieties of beer will be on tap. Happy Hour is from 17:00 to 19:00 every day: 50% off cocktails, and like the other locations sports games will be shown on their big screens. Hours: 10:30~02:00 (Sun.~Thu.), 10:30~03:00 (Fri.~Sat.). 50 terrace seats, 52 bar seats. OPENING SPECIALS: 11/15~17: all drinks that are regularly ¥1,000 or under, will be just ¥500!
