Some one-hundred staff members at the health centers of Fukuoka Prefecture worked over the standard set risk of karoshi (overwork to death.) Due to the increasing workload amidst the fourth wave of the regional new coronavirus infections, 101 persons worked 80 hours of overtime during May.
