On Mar. 1, Nishitetsu announced that its new building, located on Kokutai-doro next to Tsutaya (and opposite the Apple Store), will open on Apr. 1. It also took this opportunity to formally announce the building’s name: Nishitetsu Tenjin Class. The concept behind the structure is that it is “a new kind of school”, where enterprising minds can communicate and exchange ideas. Businesses opening in the building include Sony Store Fukuoka Tenjin (1~2F), Green Bean to Bar Chocolate (1F), Tech Park (Groovenauts, 3F), Asumin (Fukuoka City’s NPO/volunteer exchange center, 4F) and Municipal Fukuoka Central Children’s Hall (5~8F).
