Kitakyushu-based airline, Star Flyer, announced its non-consolidated financial results for the April-December period. The company recorded a loss of JPY 800 million, a significant improvement from the previous year’s loss of JPY 3 billion. The recovery in passenger demand and the appreciation of the yen led to a decrease in aircraft maintenance costs. Star Flyer’s cumulative sales increased by 52% YoY to JPY 23.3 billion.
