Kitakyushu based Star Flyer has announced plans to start flights from Kitakyushu Airport to the Guam and Saipan area as soon as the summer of 2013. They intend to take advantage of the 24 hour take-off and landing potential in Kitakyushu to leave late in the date and arrive early morning into the destinations. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun Oct 17
