Starflyer Airlines of Kitakyushu announced they had purchased two Airbus 320 aircraft, the company’s first purchase of its own aircraft. They’ve been leasing all the airplanes they’ve been operating up to now. Both new plans carry about 150 passengers and cost seven billion yen each. Starflyer is now flying five aircraft, and plans to lease two more by April next year.
