Japanese LCC Starflyer announced on May 10 that they will launch a new trial route between Kitakyushu~Guam, with 13 round trips scheduled for the month of August. It’s the first time for the company to fly between U.S. territory and Kitakyushu. The one-way flight takes approximately three hours aboard the airbus A320. Starflyer’s CEO, Mr. Yonehara said that if the new route does well, the airline will consider continuing the service after its summer trial period. Nishinippon Shimbun May 11.
