Subsidized Sale for Goods Produced by Entities Staffed with Persons with Disabilities

Ninety-five Fukuoka-based factories and eateries at which people with disabilities produce food and other items will offer special discounts between Nov. 1 ~ Dec. 31. While the impact of the new coronavirus spread significantly reduced sales at those facilities, the city launched a subsidy program to backup promotional discounts of up to 50%. This is the first initiative of the kind for an ordinance-designated town. Information on venues (including ward offices) and schedules are available from the Fukuoka City website.
