The Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau announced that it will run the city subways for 30 extra minutes every Friday of December in line with the end-of-year party season. The extended service will serve as a trial and result in an additional 13 trains every Friday. Extra trains will also run on the JR Chikugo Line and Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line, both of which are connected to the subway line.
