There will be an expansion in the use of the SUNQ (Thank You) pass for unlimited rides on Kyushu long-distance buses and route buses operated by 46 regional bus companies, including Nishitetsu in Fukuoka City. Starting in June, most of the bus routes of the Sanden Co. in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, will be added to the transportation facilities eligible for use, as well as four ferries that operate between Kyushu and Shimonoseki. The Sanden routes to be added will be 198 general routes in the city and two long-distance routes: one between the Kitakyushu Airport and Shimonoseki, and one between the Tenjin district of Fukuoka City and Shimonoseki.
