Suzuyo & Co., a logistics company based in Shizuoka City, announced it would launch Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) next year in conjunction with the opening of the new Shizuoka Airport to use small jets on routes between regional cities that the major airlines are increasingly deserting. The service is slated to begin next summer with routes from Shizuoka City to Komatsu in Ishikawa Prefecture, Kumamoto City, and Kagoshima City. There will be daily round-trips to Kumamoto City and Kagoshima City with jets that board 76 passengers
