Taxi Passes Offered for Used Cars Trade Ins

JTB Kyushu announced that a limited number of commuter passes for use Daiichi Kotsu taxis will be made available to Kitakyushu City residents over the age of 70. The initiative will be run in cooperation with IDOM, a company that buys and sells second-hand cars. Special taxi season tickets will be made available to the first 20 senior citizens who will sell their cars for over ¥250,000 and who will also return their driver’s license back to the city. The campaign will run until Feb. 20 at the Kokura Sone Bypass branch of the used car dealership shop, Gulliver. Source: Mainichi Shimbun, 1/19/2018
