Nomura Real Estate and Takenaka Corporation plan to redevelop the Fukuoka Tenjin Center Building into a 21-story, mixed-use tower by FY2028. Located 250 meters west of the Tenjin intersection, the new building will include retail on the lower floors and offices above, with a rooftop terrace. Construction begins in December. It will be the first project approved under Fukuoka’s “Green Bonus” program, which rewards building greening efforts with eased floor space regulations.
