The popular shopping building, Tenjin Core, closes its doors today, March 31. The fashion center opened 44 years ago with the concept of bringing the trends and fashions of Tokyo’s Shinjuku & Harajuku to Fukuoka. Despite fewer shoppers in the area due to the new coronavirus, the shopping center attracted many fans for a final closing sale. To avoid crowds, the closing ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube (3/31 21:30~ *may be delayed, Youtube) and without an onsite audience. Source: Asahi 2020-03-31
