Machizukuri Dantai, a Fukuoka City community development organization, is organizing volunteer guides to assist foreign guests in the Tenjin area for one month. Fukuoka City is expecting over 9,000 foreign visitors during October and November due to various international conventions and events, such as the “Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival”. From 10/13 (Sat.)~11/11 (Sun.) around 44 volunteer foreign-language guides in green jackets, speaking English, Chinese and Korean, will be spread around Nishitetsu Tenjin Station and the main shopping areas from 12:00~17:00 daily.
