Tenjin Meiji-dori Machizukuri Council [MDC] and We Love Tenjin Council [WLT], which promote urban development in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka City, will hold a trial event “Tenjin Meiji-dori Terrace” from November 7 (Monday) to November 18 (Friday) to promote the use of open space in the Tenjin urban center, including public open spaces. Tenjin Meiji-dori Terrace” will be held at two public open spaces along Meiji-dori.
(1) Fukuoka Bank Head Office Fukugin Plaza
A Wi-Fi environment and power supply will be provided in some areas to create a comfortable business space, and a food marché (breakfast, lunch, fresh produce, etc.) will be set up to suit different scenes of the day. In the evenings, kitchen cars will sell alcoholic beverages, board games will be available for rent, and business-related talk sessions will be held to create a place for office workers to interact with each other.
(2) Tenjin Business Center 1st floor open space
Da Bocciano Tenjin (Italian cuisine), which is located in the same building, will open a terrace, and Patagonia Fukuoka will have a booth display and sell collaborative products from the two stores. This will be the first attempt to utilize this open space. This initiative will take advantage of the relaxed standards for road occupancy permits, etc. that Fukuoka City has implemented to support restaurants in the Corona Disaster Area.
