Tenjin Solaria Plaza Refurbishment Plans
Nishinippon Tetsudo announced plans to begin renovations for Solaria Plaza. It will be the largest refurbishment of the complex since Solaria Plaza opened in 1989. Changes include: the second basement level will open new “zakka” shops, a grocery shop and the complex will be made to connect to the Tenjin Chikagai; a new escalator will connect B2F~2F on the Iwataya side; the windows will be renovated on the Kego Park side; the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel lobby will be moved to the sixth floor; and the bathrooms on B1F, and 4F~6F will be expanded to 1.5 their current size.
