Nishi-Nippon Railroad has started selling coupon booklets for yatai food stalls in the Tenjin area. The booklets, which cost ¥1,500, contain a map of yatai and coupons worth ¥1,500. The aim is to make yatai easier to use for tourists and other people who’ve never used a food stall before. The booklet was produced by a 14-member project team of Tenjin Committee Neo, a group of local Nishitetsu Group employees that aims to invigorate the Tenjin area. Booklets are available for purchase at Fukuoka City Tourist Information Booths, Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station and Nishitetsu Group hotels. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun 6/3
