The Thai Olympic taekwondo team will hold their training camp in Kitakyushu City in the build-up to the Tokyo Olympic games in 2020. Kitakyushu City is a designated “host town” for Tokyo 2020 and is currently engaged in exchange projects prior to the games. Kitakyushu City officials and the Taekwondo Association of Thailand signed an agreement in Bangkok on May 8. The news comes after it was revealed that a similar arrangement was reached with the Thai Olympic table tennis team.
