A 26-year-old male physical therapist in Fukuoka City’s Nishi Ward has been arrested for allegedly trespassing in a female colleague’s apartment and attempting to steal underwear. The incident occurred on April 16 around 6 p.m. The woman, a 30-year-old occupational therapist, was monitoring a pet camera from a friend’s home when she saw the suspect searching her room. She immediately contacted police.
The suspect, Riku Ichihashi, noticed the camera and fled without taking anything. Upon reviewing the footage, police identified Ichihashi, who works at the same hospital as the victim. He admitted to entering the room but denied intent to steal, stating he only looked at or touched the items.
