Fukuoka University announced the establishment of the Diabetes Advanced Treatment Center for diabetes treatment, research, and education. The Center’s operation will be operated jointly by the schools of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science, and Sports and Health Medicine. It will be the first facility in the country to combine diagnosis and treatment with departments devoted to nutrition, exercise, and the use of pharmaceuticals. The center hopes to employ this cooperation to develop new treatment methods.
