Mayor Hiroyuki Mori of Kagoshima City announced that a special exchange and cooperation agreement would be signed next month with Fukuoka City and Kumamoto City. The agreement is expected to enable the cities to work together to promote tourism and business development with the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen Line in 2011. Specific projects will be determined through later discussions.
