Tofuro-mae Station in Dazaifu City Gets Honorary Additional Name

Nishitetsu announced on October 10 assignment of an additional name to its Tofuro-Mae Station in Dazaifu City, marking the enthronement of the new Emperor of Japan. As the nearest station to Sakamoto Hachimangu, the birthplace of the name of the new era in Japan will also be known as “Reiwa no Sato” station from October 22. On the day, free single-trip tickets to Tofuro-Mae Station (valid 10/23 ~ 12/22) will be distributed to 10,000 people at stations of Omuta Line and commemorate the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito.
