Toyota Kyushu Revenue Falls 10.1%

Toyota Motor Kyushu reported a 10.1% decrease in revenue for FY2024, totaling ¥1.353 trillion—the second-highest level on record. The decline follows a cooldown in recovery production after semiconductor shortages eased. Output dropped 10.4% year-on-year to 376,050 vehicles, mainly affecting Lexus models produced at the Miyata plant. Production of hybrid systems in Kitakyushu fell 4.5%, while engine output in Kanda declined 8.8%. The company noted minimal current impact from U.S. tariff policies and continues to export nearly 90% of its vehicles to about 80 countries. Source: Yomiuri
