Toyota Motor Kyushu Reopens Factory After COVID-19 Disinfection

Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. revealed it halted operation of the Miyata Factory in Fukuoka after one of the factory workers became infected with COVID-19. According to the company, an employee working at the second production line of the factory tested positive for the new COVID-19 on March 24. Toyota shortly closed the facility and completed disinfection by March 25. While the factory resumed operation on March 26, some staff members who came in contact with the patient are staying at home for the next two weeks. Source: Nikkei / NHK 2020-03-26
