Try Chocolate Fries This Valentine’s Season

McDonald’s customers in Japan can enjoy a new sweet-n-salty take on the Golden Arches’ iconic fries from today, Jan. 26. McChoco Potato is a serving of fries topped with cacao flavor and white milk chocolate. This is not the first time that McDonald’s Japan has offered customers a different way to enjoy French fries; they previously served Shaka Shaka Potato – fries topped with cheese sauce and bacon. McChoco Potato is coming out in time for Valentine’s Day, but will only be available for a limited time. Two of the Fukuoka Now team went to try some chocolate fries during their lunch break – they reported back that the fries were rich and tasty. Source: McDonald’s Newsroom, 1/19

Editor’s note: A fan of unconventional chocolate? Don’t miss the saucy chocolate art installation at our Valentine’s Party! There’ll also be a chocolate fountain. We won’t have fried potatoes to dip, but there will be fruit and marshmallows! Find out more here.
